Stage 2 of the LRT, which is set to be completed in 2027, includes an LRT station at Lincoln Fields. This is very exciting news for our community. The association has been actively involved in consultations on the new station. You can keep up to date on the City’s plans for Phase 2 on this page:
During the AGM in June 2025, a question was asked to Theresa Kavanagh (our city councillor) regarding the access to the new Lincoln Fields station for our community when it is completed. She referred the query to her office who asked the Stage 2 team for the LRT to respond. Everybody was certainly very speedy in their response, and they forwarded me the following map (see below); I’ve annotated it to include the details they communicated. It looks as though the new access will add maybe 3 to 5 minutes more to our walk from the neighbourhood
